We didn’t have too many plans for the 4th. Reed wasn’t feeling well so we didn’t want to do much. We spent a fairly quiet morning at home. That afternoon my mom and grandparents came over for a cook out. We made burgers and a bunch of sides. Earlier that afternoon, Zach had taken Ava to get some small fireworks, and after we ate, we let her set some of them off. 
After Reed woke up from his nap, he had an awful case of bed head! ha! The face really makes this picture, too!
I wore my red, white, and blue, too, and the perfect accessory was this white wooden bangle! My grandpa has been making these in all different colors and I love it!!!!!
Ava was so proud of all of her fireworks. Too bad when it actually came time she was scared!!! ha!
I think the funniest thing about Ava being scared and covering her ears was that in this pic I took of her, I also caught pure joy on my grandma’s face! Two total opposites!!
It was a fun day and I enjoyed having a day off of work in the middle of the week!!!!
