Labor Day Weekend 2015

Well, we had a great Labor Day weekend. Did you? Why did it go so fast??

In anticipation of the 1st Razorback football game, we wore our Hog gear to show our support on Friday! Isn’t this future Razorback football player the cutest?!?IMG_4306 IMG_4307 IMG_4331

Grant (and i totally typed Reed first – oops!) started the weekend with some nasty congestion and a cough. He was hoarse when he cried and he wasn’t himself at all. He slept really well Friday night, but was still off a little on Saturday and Sunday. He seems a little better now, and hopefully whatever he had has run its course. IMG_4349

Friday afternoon Reed was so excited when he came home because he got in the treasure box at school. And this is what he came home with!IMG_4351 On Friday night, Ava and Grant fell asleep early and Reed stayed up late with us. He cracked me up when he put these on and told me to text his teacher and my mom to show them.

Saturday morning Grant took a little snooze and someone placed a little stuffed animal next to him.IMG_4353

Good thing he didn’t seem to care!IMG_4354

And then it was finally game time!!!!!!IMG_4375IMG_4480 IMG_4481

Didn’t anyone tell him there is no crying in football?!?!!IMG_4482

Sunday morning we went to church and then spent a quiet day at home. I did some cooking to freeze some breakfast foods for the kids. It was an enjoyable day. Grant worked on trying to roll from his back to his tummy. He is SO close and gets so mad when he can’t get it!IMG_4500 IMG_4499

Monday we got up and worked around the house. It always feels nice to go into the week with a clean house. Grant took a nap and when I peeked on him in the middle, he looked absolutely adorable with one arm broken out of his swaddle.IMG_4502

I had a couple things I needed to exchange at the mall (by myself!!!!!!) and while I was there, I called my mom to ask her a question. She told me that Stephen and the girls had stopped by my sister’s new place on their way back home, so I went over there for a few minutes. Caroline was upset that my mom was holding Ainsley and she was melting down!IMG_4519

Sweet Ainsley is getting so big. She is all over the place and is so sweet!IMG_4520

It was a good weekend and I’m sad it’s over. I told Zach we need a Labor Day in every month! :)

  6. Great post full of useful tips! My site is fairly new and I am also having a hard time getting my readers to leave comments. Analytics shows they are coming to the site but I have a feeling “nobody wants to be first”.
