My baby is eight months old today. She's slowly turning into more toddler and less baby. We are having SO much fun right now but sometimes I get sad at how fast she is growing up! Where has the time gone? She is amazing us at how fast she is learning new things. Some days I wish she would slow down and just be a baby for a little longer.
At eight months old, here is what Little Miss is up to:
- She is crawling
- She is pulling up and taking steps while holding onto things
- She eats 3 meals of baby food each day along with her bottles
- She also has "snacks" like Ritz crackers, 'Nilla wafers, Gerber puffs and we occasionally give her bits of our food
- She is still incredibly fiesty
- One of her top teeth broke through today!!!!
It amazes me that in just a few short months we will be celebrating her 1st birthday!!

**Side note - I have noticed that since Ava has become mobile, it is becoming more difficult to get good pictures of her because she just crawls off!!
And on a different topic, we got some very good news yesterday!!! I'm not able to say much about it right now but it is definitely an answered prayer and we are SO thankful! I'll be able to share more soon!
What a pretty girl!! Her eyes are so beautiful! Don't you LOVE the crawling?!? I'm serious about that...I think I've enjoyed each phase of Kate's life as much (if not more than) as she has!!! Such fun to be a Mommy!

almost more preciousness than i can stand! just wait until the birthday rolls around ... time FLIES after that. sophie will be 17 months old on saturday, and it makes my stomach hurt. we're at the stage where she can sorta have a conversation with us, and it's so surreal. love all the pictures. the princess is absolutely perfect!

ReplyDeleteI am in your shoes and I can totally relate. Putting away clothes they've grown out of is the worst! It's so funny, because I want to live in the moment and enjoy this, but it's so bittersweet to see if fly by this way. Remember when they were little baby balls, all wrapped up and gurgly when we brought them home? Wasn't that, like, YESTERDAY?! And we'll be having 1st birthday parties in just a few months...
