I’ll be honest here. Age 2 is kicking my rear! Wow! The last few weeks have held a very headstrong and stubborn child full of lots of fits, lots of tantrums, and lots of whining. (oh, the whining is the worst!) (ha – and here I am doing the same!) I feel like we get home after work and spend the whole evening “fighting” and I don’t like it one bit! Anyway, I know it’s just a phase. (Can you veteran mamas reassure me that it gets better?!) Thankfully, we had wonderful night tonight that came at just the right time for this worn out mama! We spent some time outside this evening in the BEAAAAAAAAAUTIFUL weather that has arrived and we heard lots of sweet giggles!
Trying to ride her tricycle Then realized it was just easier to push.. she walked around saying “weeeeeeeee!”
Hope everyone is having a good week! Be sure and check back – I’ll be posting a giveaway very soon!!
She looks SO happy in that last photo!
ReplyDeleteOh sweet Sarah, the fun has only began! Charli has been hard headed and stubborn since a few weeks after she turned two. Just wait until she is FOUR! ;o)
ReplyDeleteI cross my fingers that this stage passes quickly for you! Ava is the cutest headstrong two year in the world though =)
Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving such a sweet comment! I really appreciate it :)
ReplyDeleteAva is adorable! I agree, two is a TOUGH age but I assure you it goes quickly! It's tiring and rewarding all rolled into one! I can't believe we're already at the point with our youngest. I don't remember my son being as difficult or strong-willed as my daughter so maybe it's a girl thing :) I've just started trying to "reason" with her like she's an older child and it seems to be working to some extent. Discipline is key too in my opinion. I am a softy! My hubby is better about consistenty using time out with her. She gets the concept though so I need to be better about it! Good luck...it's cliche but I can attest from having an older child...it will be over quickly and you'll miss it!
