Can we talk a minute about how this kid is growing beyond belief? She is just blossoming beyond comprehension. I wish I could take the time to take a mental picture and keep every little detail of her life in my mind. It’s sad that I can look back at my blog and see things I’ve written about her, that have already slipped my mind. I’m SO SO grateful for this record of her life and thought I’d document a few things about her and funny things she says.
She is wanting to listen to Christmas music and her favorite song this year is Mister Merry Gentlemen (God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen).
She is OBSESSED with My Little Ponies. OB.Sessed.
Over this past weekend, she wanted me to buy her a Barbie iPad app. She said “Mommy, if you buy me this Barbie game I’ll be your best friend!” ha!
She is scared of a lot right now. She wakes up many times in the middle of the night and makes her way to our room. She is scared of things they do at school (fire drills, visits from firemen), things at home, and people. I hope she outgrows it soon. I hate her missing out on things because she is fearful.
I’m so impressed with how much her drawing skills have progressed since August.
This is a picture she drew of herself and a classmate. They got married and she said she catches him every day and that she loves him “very, very much”. Oy. Not ready for this!
When she doesn't like something I say or do, she always tells me she is going to tell my mommy on me. Go right ahead, sister. :)
This kid is so full life, so spunky. She keeps us on her toes and can be a very stubborn, sassy child. But she can also be the sweetest, kindest little soul. I’m so proud of her and all she accomplishes. I ask her all the time how she has gotten so big and she says “I just did!” and shrugs. Then I ask her if she can stay little forever and says no! Precious girl. You are loved beyond words!!!!
All I can say is "ditto"! Right there with ya! ;)
ReplyDeleteOh Momma, you just better hang on to your toes because these girls are going to give us a run for our money. Seriously. Charli's spunkiness (I know I made that word up) has became an all new level lately. I do remember age 4 being tough though. The picture that Ava drew of your family looks just like the one that Charli made of her and I for her preschool class. What sweet memories!
