Happy 4th Birthday Reed!

Happy, 4th birthday, Reed! How we’ve come so far is beyond me! You have changed and grown so much in this last year and I am loving you at this age.

 

Here are the things I want to remember about you right now:

• You are FUNNY. You say the funniest things and it is so hard to get on to you when you make us laugh so hard.
• Your favorite shows are Paw Patrol, Transformer Rescue Bots, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and My Little Pony. ha!
• This is your first year of school that you haven’t cried every single day at drop off. I’m soooooooo thankful you have stopped doing that because it made mornings hard.
• You like things a certain way. We laugh because you are like a little old man in a four year old body, and everyone who knows you, knows this about you!
• You have a genuinely sensitive heart. With all the people we know who have died in the last year, you constantly talk about death and dying and being sad and moving on. You are wise beyond your years.
• You still wake up at the crack of dawn and most mornings come into our room to wake me up, too.
• You are FULL of energy and are all boy.
• You say EXACTLY what you are thinking. You don’t censor AT ALL. This had led to some VERY embarrassing moments for mommy! I have a love/hate relationship with this quality!!!!

Here is our big boy on his last day and last night as a three year old!
