Eleven months old!!

Reed, today you are ELEVEN months old. In one short month, you will be ONE! It is ubelievable that we have almost spent an entire year with you. You are SUCH a sweet boy. Words cannot even attempt to describe what a joy you are to us!

WHAT?! I'm 11 months old?!! How did that happen?!

At eleven months:

• You FINALLY have 6 teeth. Your top middle teeth popped through a couple weeks ago and they are already really visible.
• You have started blowing kisses – it’s so cute. You also give kisses on the cheek and make a loud "muah” sound!
• You like to climb on EVERYTHING. You are all boy!

• You like to push toy cars, an airplane, and bus around and you make a vroom sound.
• You can do the ‘wooooo’ of woo pig sooie! Such a good Hog fan!!!
• You and Ava have started playing together a lot more and it’s so fun to watch.

• You don’t scream quite as much when you wake up in the mornings. Some mornings you do scream and others you will lay in your bed until we come get you.
• You cruise around with your walker, but if you are holding our hands and walking, and we try to let go, you let squat down.
• One of my favorite things you do right now is shake your head no! So darn cute!!! And you seem to know just when to do it too which makes it even cuter!
• You say Dada, Ava, no, uh (uh-oh), and just yesterday you really started saying Mama!!!! Every time I would try to get you to say Mama, you’d grin and say Dada!  
• You weigh almost 24 pounds. You were 12-18 month clothes and wear a size 3 diaper.
• You still aren’t a huge fan of drinking out of sippy cups so hopefully we can make good progress on that in the next month. With every milestone, you’ve gotten there, but it is when you are ready. Your sister was the complete opposite – she did things very quickly after we introduced them. You seem to need time to warm up to it.
• You love ham, macaroni and cheese, green beans, rice, cheese and yogurt. There’s really not much food you turn away, but these are some of your favorites.
• You are still a great sleeper.
• You have the sweetest, funniest laugh. When people hear it, they can’t help but laugh too.

Thank you for making our lives so happy! We had such a rough start to your life and I thank Jesus daily for your precious life. These last 11 months have been so great and I cannot wait to see what the next months and years hold for you, sweet boy!!!
