There is never a dull moment in our house. Ava has always been an active child, but man oh man, does Reed make life with her seem dull in comparison. That boy is a MESS!
The other night he came out of Ava’s room and brought me a tutu and asked me to put it on him. I figured if he was in the dress up clothes, Ava was probably playing dress up. She came out of her room a few minutes later and I laughed SO hard at what I saw.
Reed is having fun dressing up as a girl with this and wanting a ponytail over the weekend, and Ava came out dressed as a warrior princess! haha!
One morning this week, Reed woke up for the day at 5:00 a.m. He had woken up two times that night (thanks to those last 2 two year molars coming in). Ava woke up early too. Usually Zach and I can get most of the way ready before they are up. It was more of a challenge the morning Reed woke up early. At one point I noticed it was really quiet so I went to check on them. I found Reed in a spot I’ve found him before:
He was pretty proud of himself for getting that spray bottle. You can see a smile behind his beloved paci.
And finally. At school, the focus in Reed’s room is on making good choices. He talks about good and bad choices a lot and points out when someone makes a bad choice. Ava and Zach were gone to gymnastics and I had given Reed a bath. As I was putting his pjs on, he looked at me and said “I gonna make a bad choice. I’m going take my shirt off.” I just laughed. A few minutes later he made good on his promise.
Like I said, life is never dull around here!
Very cute!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE how he told you he was going to make a bad choice.
